Vintage Art Deco Silver, Marcasite and Mother Of Pearl Drop Earrings

Beautiful vintage silver and marcasite, mother of pearl drop earrings.

With a silver cube outer and x4 marcasite stones to the inner, the drop of the earrings are made up of x6 tiny circular marcasite stones with a teardrop mother of pearl also encase in silver.

The earrings without the butterfly backs have been dated around mid 1900’s possibly earlier as the silver and marcasite tends to be a jewellery type linked to the Victorian era and is not usually hallmarked. As they are for pierced ears, the push backs are stamped 925 which makes them possibly a new addition to the earrings.

A lovely pair of earrings to give as a wonderful gift to a loved one for either Christmas, Birthday or Anniversary.
